Everything You Want to Know About Bitty Bits
How many bits do I use per application?
Start with 1–2 bits for hands or small areas. Use 3–4 for larger areas like legs or arms. You'll quickly find your sweet spot — a little goes a long way.
Will they melt in a hot car or bag?
The beeswax gives them a melt point higher than room temperature, but prolonged exposure to extreme heat (like a car in summer) can soften them. Store in a cool spot when possible. If they do soften slightly, they'll firm back up when cooled — no quality impact.
Are these good for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our formula uses no synthetic fragrances, no parabens, and no preservatives. The tallow and beeswax are both deeply calming ingredients historically used for reactive and eczema-prone skin. Choose our Unscented option if you have very sensitive skin.
Can I use these on my face?
These are formulated for the body — hands, elbows, legs, cuticles, heels. For facial use, we recommend our dedicated face moisturizer with Niacinamide and Avocado Oil.
Are they TSA-approved for carry-on?
Yes. Solid format means no liquid restrictions. Toss the tin in your carry-on and go.
How long does one tin last?
Depends on usage, but most customers get 3–5 weeks of daily hand use from one 1 oz tin. Using on larger body areas will go faster.

When we started working with our product specialists in Lindon, Utah to expand our tallow lotion line, they introduced us to solid lotion technology — and I knew immediately we had to make it our own.
